Minuscule 52

Minuscule 52 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), ε 345 (Von Soden), is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament, on parchment leaves. The codex was written in 1285 or 1286.[1]

Description
The codex contains complete text of the four Gospels on 158 leaves (size 16.5 cm by 12.5 cm). Written in one column per page, 27-30 lines per page, in elegant small minuscule letters.[1][2]
It contains κεφαλαια, the Ammonian Sections, the Eusebian Canons, pictures, menaion, and subscriptions.[3]
The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the Byzantine text-type. Aland placed it in Category V.[4]
History
The manuscript once belonged to Joasaph, a monk. William Laud became its owner in 1640.[2]
It was examined by Mill and Griesbach.[3]
It is currently housed in at the Bodleian Library (Laud. Gr. 3), at Oxford.[1]
