Minuscule 504

Minuscule 504 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), ε 111 (in the Soden numbering), is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament, on parchment. Dated by a Colophon to the year 1033.[] Scrivener labelled it by number 585.[] The manuscript has complex contents.

Description
The codex contains the complete text of the four Gospels on 287 parchment leaves (20.5 x 16.5). Written in one column per page, 20 lines per page.[] It contains Prolegomena, tables of the κεφαλαια are placed before every Gospel, numbers of the κεφαλαια at the left margin, the τιτλοι at the top, the Ammonian Sections (in Mark 240 sections - the last in 16:19), Eusebian Canons, lectionary markings, Menologion, Synaxarion, and pictures.[][]
It has many marginal corrections of the text.[1]
Text
The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the Byzantine text-type. Hermann von Soden classified it to the textual family Kx.[] Aland placed it in Category V.[] According to the Wisse's Profile Method it represents the textual family Kx in Luke 1, Luke 10, and Luke 20.[]
History
The manuscript as written by Synesius, a priest. In was bought by H. Rodd in 1848.[]
The manuscript was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by Scrivener. It was examined by Scrivener, and Gregory.[]
It is currently housed at the British Library (Additional Manuscripts, 17470) in London.[]
