BY vs. Through, Makes it a Different Gospel: John 1:3

When using [BY] vs. [THROUGH] in a sentence or phrase, the meaning of that sentence or phrase will change, and in the case of scriptures these two words, depending on how they are used, completely change doctrine.

Let us examine the phrases

By vs. Through

If I state that all things are made [BY] something, then I am stating that all things are made [BY] that something; that something made it.

If I state that all things are made [THROUGH] something, then I am stating that that something was utilized in the making of that thing, but that thing which was made did not originate from that something.

Lets us use another example to explain the above.

If I state that by Bob I got this new job, then I am stating that it was Bob that got me the new job.
If I state that through Bob I got this new job, then I am stating that Bob wasn’t the person that got me the job, but Bob only helped me in getting that job.

The Question

The question is straight forward, and how you answer, depending on the bible translation you read, completely changes biblical doctrine.

Question: Did the Son of God make all things, yes or no?

Received Text

The Received Text Claims that all things are made BY him – the Son of God

John 1:3 (KJV) All things were made [by] him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Modern Translations

Yet, modern translations reject this truth and claim that all things are not made by the Son of God, but only rather through the Son of God.

John 1:3

(ESV) All things were made [through] him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

(NIV) [Through] him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

(NKJV) All things were made [through] Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

Conclusion

If you continue to accept the modern bible renderings as the accurate word of God, then you are accepting translations that reject the fact that all thing were made [BY] the Son of God as according to John 1:3.

Not only do you reject this truth, but you also put yourself into a position of never really coming to an understanding of the truth of God due to the studying of false mistranslated translations; modern bibles.

This is not about KJV vs. the others; this is about pure teachings – the Textus Receptus – vs. the false teachings that are scribed into all modern translations including the NKJV.

If your bible is not based on the Textus Receptus, then the book you are reading is not based on sound biblical doctrine.

John 8:32 KJV And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
