John 1:51
From Textus Receptus
(Checked)
(Textus Receptus, Novum Testamentum, Theodore Beza, 5th major edition. Geneva. 1598)
- John 1:51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
(King James Version, Pure Cambridge Edition 1900)
- John 1:51 And He said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, after this you all will see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”
(Progressive King James Version, 2015)
Verse 38-51 in Beza's 1598 text is not in line with the KJV or Scrivener's text, but seems to follow the Greek Orthodox text.
