Some editions of the King James Version have “spirit” not “Spirit” here. The Pure Cambridge Edition of the KJV has “spirit” here with the “s” in lowercase, thus signifying a human spirit and not the Holy Spirit. Beza's 1598 Latin and Vugate both capitalize the “S.”
