Psa 149:1 Prayse ye the Lorde, syng vnto God a newe song: he ought to be praysed in the congregation of saintes. Psa 149:2 Israel shoulde reioyce in his maker: the children of Sion shoulde be ioyfull in their kyng. Psa 149:3 They shoulde prayse his name in a daunce: they shoulde sing psalmes vnto hym vpon a tabret and a harpe. Psa 149:4 For God hath a pleasure in his people: he wyll beautifie the afflicted with saluation. Psa 149:5 The saintes shalbe ioyful with glory: they shal expresse a ioyfull noyse in their beddes. Psa 149:6 The hygh promotions of the Lorde shalbe in their mouth: and a two edged sworde in their handes. Psa 149:7 That they may take auengement of the heathen: and correction of the nations. Psa 149:8 That they may bynde their kynges in chaynes: and their nobles with iron fetters. Psa 149:9 That they may execute the iudgement prescribed: this honour shalbe to all his saintes. Prayse ye the Lorde.
