10盗人の来るは盗むため、また殺すため、また亡ぼすために外ならず。我が到りしは彼等の生をもつため、即ち豊なる〔生〕をもつためなりしなり

14我は牧者、良き者なり。されば我は我がものなるものを知り、また我がものなるものに知らる。

I am the good shepherd, and know my [sheep], and am known of mine.

15　父の我を知り給ふ如く我も父を知る。且つ我が魂を羊のために捨つ。

As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
