== Description ==
The [[codex]] contains the entire [[New Testament]], on 366 paper leaves (size {{×|28.8|21.5}}).<sup>[2]</sup> The text is written in one column per page, 28 lines per page.<sup>[2]</sup><sup>[3]</sup>

The text of the four Gospels is divided according to the Ammonian Sections, whose numbers of the Ammonian Sections are given at the margin, but references to the [[Eusebian Canons]] (rare). It contains [[Euthalian Apparatus]].<sup>[4]</sup>

It contains tables of the κεφαλαια before each sacred book (with a Harmony), portrait of Mark Evangelist, lectionary markings, incipits, αναγνωσεις, [[Synaxarion]], [[Menologion]], subscriptions, στιχοι, and Verse.<sup>[4]</sup><sup>[5]</sup>

The order of books is usual: Gospels, Acts, Catholic epistles, Pauline epistles (Hebrews followed Philemon), and Apocalypse.<sup>[4]</sup>

According to Scrivener it is beautiful codex.<sup>[5]</sup>

== Text ==
The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the [[Byzantine text-type]]. [[Hermann von Soden]] classified it to the textual family [[Family Kr|K<sup>r</sup>]].<sup>[6]</sup> [[Kurt Aland|Aland]] placed it in [[Categories of New Testament manuscripts#Category V|Category V]].<sup>[7]</sup>

According to the [[Claremont Profile Method]] it represents textual family K<sup>r</sup> in [[Luke 1]], [[Luke 10]], and [[Luke 20]], as a perfect member of the family.<sup>[6]</sup>

The text of the [[Jesus and the woman taken in adultery|Pericope Adulterae]] (John 7:53-8:11) is divided by an [[obelus]].<sup>[4]</sup>

== History ==

Gregory dated the manuscript to the 14th century.<sup>[4]</sup> Currently the manuscript is dated by the [[Institute for New Testament Textual Research|INTF]] to the 14th century.<sup>[3]</sup>

The manuscript was examined by Antonio Rocci in 1882.<sup>[4]</sup>
It was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by Scrivener (622)<sup>[5]</sup> and Gregory (824<sup>e</sup>). Gregory saw it in 1886.<sup>[4]</sup>


Currently the manuscript is housed at the [[Biblioteca della Badia]] (A' α. 1), in [[Grottaferrata]].<sup>[2]</sup><sup>[3]</sup>
