Minuscule 282 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), ε 280 (Soden), is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament, on parchment. Dated by a colophon to the year 1176.[1][2]

Description

The codex contains the text of the four Gospels on 150 parchment leaves (17.8 cm by 12.8 cm). Written in two columns per page, in 33-34 lines per page.[1] It contains Eusebian tables, κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, lectionary markings, subscriptions, it has not the Eusebian Canons. The Ammonian Sections (Mark 235 - 16:12) were added by a later hand.[3]

Text

The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the Byzantine text-type. Aland placed it in Category V.[4] It belongs to the textual family Kx.

History

The manuscript was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by Scholz (1794-1852).[5] The manuscript is currently housed at the Bibliothèque nationale de France (Gr. 90) at Paris.[1]
