Minuscule 384 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), α 355 (Soden), is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament, on paper. Palaeographically it had been assigned to the 13th century.[1] Formerly it was labeled by 59a and 62p. [2]

Description

The codex contains the text of the Acts, Catholic epistles, and Pauline epistles on 132 paper leaves (25.4 cm by 17 cm). Written in one column per page, in 36 lines per page.[1] It contains Prolegomenta, κεφαλαια, lectionary markings, incipits, subscriptions, and stichoi.[2]

Text

The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the Byzantine text-type. Aland placed it in Category V.[3]

History

On the first leaf we read "liber hospitalis de Cusa trevirensis dioc. R".[4]

The manuscript was examined by Griesbach and Bloomfield.[4]

The manuscript is currently housed at the British Library (Harley 5588) in London.[1]
