Minuscule 397 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), Cι10 (Soden), is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament, on parchment. Paleographically it had been assigned to the 10th or 11th century.[1]

Description
The codex contains the text of the Gospel of John on 295 parchment leaves (28 cm by 23.5 cm) with catenae. Written in one column per page, in 27 lines per page.[1][2]
History
The manuscript was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by Scholz (1794-1852) with a number 397.[3] The manuscript was described by Giuseppe Bianchini.
The manuscript is currently housed at the Biblioteca Vallicelliana (E. 40) in Rome.[1]
