3 And no man in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the book or to look on it.
2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse. And he who sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.
4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, or to look on it.
3 And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second creature say, “Come and see.
5 And one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book and to loosen its seven seals."
4 And another  horse  that  was  red went out. And authority was given to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another; and there was given to him a large sword.
6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
5 Then when He had opened the third seal, I heard the third creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.
7 And He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four creatures saying, “A mea-sure of wheat for a denarius, and three measures of barley for a denarius; and see you do not harm the oil and the grape juice.
8 And when He had taken the book, the four beasts and twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, every one of them having harps and golden vials full of incense, which are the prayers of saints.
7 And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth creature say, “Come and see.”
9 And they sang a new song, saying, "You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, for You were slain and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,
8 So  I  looked,  and  behold,  a  pale horse. And the name of him who sat

on it was Death, and Hell followed with him.  And authority was given to them over a quarter of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.
11 And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the beasts and the elders. And the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,
9 And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.
12 saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing."
10 And they shouted out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who inhabit the earth?”
13 And I heard every creature that is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, saying, "Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever."
11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until their fellow servants and also their brethren, who should be killed just as they were, should be fulfilled.
14 And the four beasts said, "Amen." And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshipped Him who lives forever and ever.
12 And I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a large earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.
13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, just as a fig tree drops her untimely figs when she is shaken by a strong wind.
14 Then the heaven receded like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and   the    commanders,   and    the mighty  men, and  every  slave  and every free man, hid themselves in the  caves  and in  the  rocks  of  the mountains,
16 and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!
