2 Mercy to you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you about the common salvation, it was necessary for me to write to you, and urge you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints.
4 Because, there are certain men who crept in unnoticed, who long ago were ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, tur-ning the grace of our God into lustfulness and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

going after other flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

8 Likewise also these filthy dream-ers defile the flesh, despise authority, and speak evil of those highly esteemed.
