1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James, to those who are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
  1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him to show to His servants, things that will come to pass suddenly. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John,
2 mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you.
  2 who bore record to the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of everything that he saw.
3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write to you of the common salvation, it was necessary for me to write to you and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints.
  3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this proph-ecy, and keep those things which are written in it; because the time is at hand.
4 For there are certain men who have crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation— ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lewdness and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
  4 John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne,
5 I will therefore remind you, though you once knew this: that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
  5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
6 And the angels who did not keep their first estate but left their own dwelling place, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day,
  6 and has made us kings and priests to God and His Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
7 even as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication and going after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
  7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, and also those who pierced Him. And all tribes    of    the   earth    will    mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise authority, and speak evil of dignitaries.
  8 “I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, did not dare bring against him a railing accusation but said, "The Lord rebuke you."
  9 I John, who am also your brother and companion in tribulation and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
10 But these speak evil of those things that they do not know. But what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
  10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet,
11 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and run greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the disobedience of Korah.
  11 saying, “I am Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last,and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”
12 These are blemishes in your feasts of love when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear. They are clouds without water, carried about by winds; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
  12 Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lamp-stands,
13 raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
  13 and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and wrapped about the chest with a golden band.
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints
  14 His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes were like a flame of fire;
15 to execute judgment on all, and to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds that they have committed in an ungodly manner, and of all their harsh speeches that ungodly sinners have spoken against Him."
  15 His feet were like fine brass, as if being refined  in a  furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters;
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts. And their mouths speak great swelling words, holding men in admiration to gain advantage.
  16 and He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.
17 But, beloved, remember the words that were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,
  17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not fear; I am the First and the Last.
18 how they told you there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.
  18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hell and of Death.
19 These are those who separate themselves— sensual, not having the Spirit.
  19 Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will be after this.
20 But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
  20 The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.
21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.
22 And on some have compassion, making a difference,
23 and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment stained by the flesh.
24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
25 to the only wise God, our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.
