1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
1 And after these things I heard a great voice of many people in heaven, saying, "Alleluia. Salvation and glory and honor and power to the Lord our God.
2 And being with child, she cried, laboring in birth, and pained to be delivered.
2 For His judgments are true and righteous, for He has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her fornication and has avenged the blood of His servants at her hand."
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven: and behold a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
3 And again they said, "Alleluia. And her smoke rises up forever and ever."
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered, to devour her child as soon as it was born.
4 And the twenty-four elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen. Alleluia."
5 And she gave birth to a male child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her child was caught up to God and to His throne.
5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all you His servants and you who fear Him, both small and great."
6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
6 And I heard what seemed like the voice of a great multitude, and like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of mighty thundering, saying, "Alleluia. For the Lord God omnipotent reigns.
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought
7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.
8 and did not prevail; their place was no longer found in heaven.
8 And it was granted to her that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white, for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
9 And he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'" And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."
10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers, who accused them before our God day and night, is cast out.
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, "See that you do not do it. I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens, and you who dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time."
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. And He had a name written that no man knew but He Himself.
13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who brought forth the male child.
13 And He was clothed with a garment dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness into her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, away from the face of the serpent.
14 And the armies that were in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
15 And the serpent cast water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.
15 And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He shall rule them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood that the dragon cast out of his mouth.
16 And He has a name written on His garment and on His thigh: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
17 And the dragon was angry with the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather yourselves together for the supper of the great God,
18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great."
19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked miracles before him, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast, and those who worshipped his image. These two were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him who sat on the horse, the sword that proceeded out of His mouth. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
