1 And there was given me a reed like a rod. And the angel stood, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those who worship in it."
1 And after these things I heard a great voice of many people in heaven, saying, "Alleluia. Salvation and glory and honor and power to the Lord our God.
2 But leave out the court that is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it is given to the Gentiles. And they shall tread the holy city underfoot forty-two months.
2 For His judgments are true and righteous, for He has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her fornication and has avenged the blood of His servants at her hand."
3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.
3 And again they said, "Alleluia. And her smoke rises up forever and ever."
4 These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
4 And the twenty-four elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen. Alleluia."
5 And if any man wants to harm them, fire proceeds out of their mouth and devours their enemies. And if any man wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner.
5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all you His servants and you who fear Him, both small and great."
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it not rain in the days of their prophecy, and have power over waters to turn them to blood and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they want.
6 And I heard what seemed like the voice of a great multitude, and like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of mighty thundering, saying, "Alleluia. For the Lord God omnipotent reigns.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord was also crucified.
8 And it was granted to her that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white, for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And those of the people and tribes and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three and a half days, and shall not allow their dead bodies to be put in graves.
9 And he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'" And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."
10 And those who dwell on the earth shall rejoice over them and make merry, and shall send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwelled on the earth.
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, "See that you do not do it. I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
11 And after three and a half days the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them.
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. And He had a name written that no man knew but He Himself.
13 And the same hour there was a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell. And in the earthquake seven thousand men were slain, and the remnant were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.
13 And He was clothed with a garment dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
14 The second woe is past, and behold, the third woe comes quickly.
14 And the armies that were in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
15 And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever."
15 And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He shall rule them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their seats fell on their faces and worshipped God,
16 And He has a name written on His garment and on His thigh: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
17 saying, "We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, who is and was and is to come, because You have taken to You Your great power and have reigned.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather yourselves together for the supper of the great God,
18 And the nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should give reward to Your servants the prophets and to the saints, and those who fear Your name, small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth."
18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great."
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings and voices and thundering and an earthquake and great hail.
19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked miracles before him, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast, and those who worshipped his image. These two were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him who sat on the horse, the sword that proceeded out of His mouth. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
