C H A P T E R 10 
1 And after these things I heard a great voice of many people in heaven, saying, "Alleluia. Salvation and glory and honor and power to the Lord our God.
  1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
2 For His judgments are true and righteous, for He has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her fornication and has avenged the blood of His servants at her hand."
  2 And he had a little book open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,
3 And again they said, "Alleluia. And her smoke rises up forever and ever."
  3 and shouted out with a loud voice, like when a lion roars. And when he had shouted out, seven thunders uttered their voices.
4 And the twenty-four elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen. Alleluia."
  4 Now when the seven thunders had spoken their voices, I was about
5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all you His servants and you who fear Him, both small and great."
to write; but I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Seal up those things which the seven thunders spoke, and do not write them.
6 And I heard what seemed like the voice of a great multitude, and like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of mighty thundering, saying, "Alleluia. For the Lord God omnipotent reigns.
  5 And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his hand to heaven
7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.
  6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth, and the things that are in it, and the sea, and the things that are in it, that there should no longer be a delay,
8 And it was granted to her that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white, for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
  7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he will begin to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He has declared to His servants the prophets.
9 And he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'" And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."
  8 Then the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again and said, “Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land.
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, "See that you do not do it. I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
  9 So I went to the angel and said to him, “Give me the little book.And he said to me, “Take it and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth.”
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
  10 Then I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it up, and it was sweet as honey in my mouth. But as soon as I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. And He had a name written that no man knew but He Himself.
  11 And he said to me, “You must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and lan-guages, and kings.
13 And He was clothed with a garment dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies that were in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
15 And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He shall rule them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And He has a name written on His garment and on His thigh: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather yourselves together for the supper of the great God,
18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great."
19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked miracles before him, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast, and those who worshipped his image. These two were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him who sat on the horse, the sword that proceeded out of His mouth. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
