1 Then when He had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about the period of half an hour.
1 And after these things I heard a great voice of many people in heaven, saying, "Alleluia. Salvation and glory and honor and power to the Lord our God.
2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.
2 For His judgments are true and righteous, for He has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her fornication and has avenged the blood of His servants at her hand."
3 Then another angel having a golden censer came and stood at the altar. And a large amount of incense was given to him, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
3 And again they said, "Alleluia. And her smoke rises up forever and ever."
4 And the smoke of the incense, which  came  up  with  the  prayers of the  saints, ascended  up before God from the angel’s hand.
4 And the twenty-four elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen. Alleluia."
5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. Then there were noises, thunderings, light-nings, and an earthquake.
5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all you His servants and you who fear Him, both small and great."
6 So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared them-selves to sound.
6 And I heard what seemed like the voice of a great multitude, and like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of mighty thundering, saying, "Alleluia. For the Lord God omnipotent reigns.
7 The first angel sounded: And hail and fire mingled with blood fol-lowed, and they were thrown to the earth. Then a third of all the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.
8 Then the second angel sounded: And a thing like a huge mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, then a third of all the sea became blood.
8 And it was granted to her that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white, for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And a third of all the creatures in the sea that had life died, and a third of all the ships were destroyed.
9 And he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'" And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."
10 Then the third angel sounded: And a large star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of all the rivers and on the springs of waters.
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, "See that you do not do it. I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
11 And the name of the star is Wormwood. Then a third of all the waters became wormwood, and many people died from the water, because it was made bitter.
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
12 Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. And a third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. And He had a name written that no man knew but He Himself.
13  And I looked, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying  with   a  loud  voice,   “Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabitants  of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”
13 And He was clothed with a garment dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies that were in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
15 And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He shall rule them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And He has a name written on His garment and on His thigh: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather yourselves together for the supper of the great God,
18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great."
19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked miracles before him, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast, and those who worshipped his image. These two were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him who sat on the horse, the sword that proceeded out of His mouth. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
