1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth or on the sea or on any tree.
1 And after these things I heard a great voice of many people in heaven, saying, "Alleluia. Salvation and glory and honor and power to the Lord our God.
2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea,
2 For His judgments are true and righteous, for He has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her fornication and has avenged the blood of His servants at her hand."
3 saying, "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads."
3 And again they said, "Alleluia. And her smoke rises up forever and ever."
4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed. And there were one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed of all the tribes of the children of Israel:
4 And the twenty-four elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen. Alleluia."
5 of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed;
5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all you His servants and you who fear Him, both small and great."
6 of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand were sealed;
6 And I heard what seemed like the voice of a great multitude, and like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of mighty thundering, saying, "Alleluia. For the Lord God omnipotent reigns.
7 of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were sealed;
7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.
8 of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.
8 And it was granted to her that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white, for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude— which no man could number, of all nations and tribes and people and tongues— stood before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes and palms in their hands,
9 And he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'" And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."
10 and cried with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb."
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, "See that you do not do it. I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
11 And all the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces and worshipped God,
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
12 saying, "Amen. Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever. Amen."
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. And He had a name written that no man knew but He Himself.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these who are arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?"
13 And He was clothed with a garment dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
14 And I said to him, "Sir, you know." And he said to me, "These are those who came out of great tribulation and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
14 And the armies that were in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
15 Therefore they are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne shall dwell among them.
15 And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He shall rule them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore, nor shall the sun fall on them, nor any heat,
16 And He has a name written on His garment and on His thigh: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shall feed them and shall lead them to living fountains of waters. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes."
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather yourselves together for the supper of the great God,
18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great."
19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked miracles before him, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast, and those who worshipped his image. These two were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him who sat on the horse, the sword that proceeded out of His mouth. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
