1 And after these things I heard a great voice of many people in heaven, saying, "Alleluia. Salvation and glory and honor and power to the Lord our God.
1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard a noise like thunder, one of the four beasts saying, "Come and see."
2 For His judgments are true and righteous, for He has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her fornication and has avenged the blood of His servants at her hand."
2 And I saw, and behold, a white horse. And he who sat on it had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer.
3 And again they said, "Alleluia. And her smoke rises up forever and ever."
3 And when He had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, "Come and see."
4 And the twenty-four elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen. Alleluia."
4 And there went out another horse that was red. And power was given to him who sat on it to take peace from the earth and that they should kill one another. And a great sword was given to him.
5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all you His servants and you who fear Him, both small and great."
5 And when He had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, "Come and see." And I looked, and behold, a black horse. And he who sat on it had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard what seemed like the voice of a great multitude, and like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of mighty thundering, saying, "Alleluia. For the Lord God omnipotent reigns.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, "A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny. And see you do not hurt the oil and the wine."
7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.
7 And when He had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, "Come and see."
8 And it was granted to her that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white, for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given to them over the fourth part of the earth to kill with sword and with hunger and with death and with the beasts of the earth.
9 And he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'" And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."
9 And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who were slain for the word of God and for the testimony that they held.
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, "See that you do not do it. I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?"
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
11 And white robes were given to every one of them. And it was said to them that they should still rest for a little season, until their fellow servants and also their brothers, who would be killed as they were, would be fulfilled.
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. And He had a name written that no man knew but He Himself.
12 And I looked when He had opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake. And the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as like blood.
13 And He was clothed with a garment dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs when she is shaken by a mighty wind.
14 And the armies that were in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
14 And the heavens parted as a scroll when it is rolled together, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He shall rule them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
15 And the kings of the earth and the great men and the rich men and the chief captains and the mighty men and every bondman and every free man hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains,
16 And He has a name written on His garment and on His thigh: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
16 and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather yourselves together for the supper of the great God,
17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who shall be able to stand?"
18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great."
19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked miracles before him, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast, and those who worshipped his image. These two were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him who sat on the horse, the sword that proceeded out of His mouth. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
