  1 “Judge not, that you be not judged.
1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
  2 For  with  the judgment  you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.
2 In the midst of its street, and on either side of the river, there was the tree of life, which bore twelve kinds of fruit and yielded its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
  3 And why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank that is in your own eye?
3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
  4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and behold, a plank is in your own eye?
4 And they shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.
  5 You hypocrite! First take out the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck from your brother’s eye.
5 And there shall be no night there, and they need no candle or light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
  6 “Do not give that which is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and attack you.
6 And he said to me, "These sayings are faithful and true." And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show to His servants the things that must shortly be done.
  7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
7 "Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book."
  8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him that knocks it will be opened.
8 And I, John, saw these things and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.
  9 Or what man is there among you, who if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
9 Then he said to me, "See that you do not do it. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers the prophets, and of those who keep the sayings of this book. Worship God."
  10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?
10 And he said to me, "Do not seal the sayings of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.
  11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is  in  heaven  give  good things  
11 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; and he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; and he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; and he who is holy, let him be holy still."

12 "And, behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according to what his work is.
  12 Therefore, everything you would like men to do to you, so likewise you do to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last."
  13 “Enter in through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in through it.
14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter in through the gates into the city.
  14 For the gate is narrow and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
15 For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and fornicators, and murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves and makes a lie.
  15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David and the bright and morning star."
  16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let him who hears say, "Come." And let him who is thirsty come. And whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
  17 Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
18 For I testify to every man who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If any man adds to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book.
  18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
19 And if any man takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book.
  19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20 He who testifies these things says, "Surely I come quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
  20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
  21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.
  22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonderful works in Your name?’ 
  23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I
never  knew  you;  depart  from  Me,  
 
you who practice iniquity!’
  24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on a rock:
  25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house; and it did not fall, because it was founded on a rock.
  26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be likened to a foolish man who built his house on the sand:
  27 And the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”
  28 And so it happened, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His doctrine,
  29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
