  1 In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea,
1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
  2 and saying, “Repent, because the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”
2 In the midst of its street, and on either side of the river, there was the tree of life, which bore twelve kinds of fruit and yielded its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
  3 For this is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah, saying: “The voice of one calling out in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the LORD; make His paths straight.’ ”
3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
  4 Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.
4 And they shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.
  5 Then Jerusalem, all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him
5 And there shall be no night there, and they need no candle or light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
  6 and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins.
6 And he said to me, "These sayings are faithful and true." And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show to His servants the things that must shortly be done.
  7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to

9 Then he said to me, "See that you do not do it. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers the prophets, and of those who keep the sayings of this book. Worship God."
  8 Therefore bring forth fruits worthy of repentance,
10 And he said to me, "Do not seal the sayings of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.
  9 and do not think to say within yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.
11 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; and he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; and he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; and he who is holy, let him be holy still."
  10 And even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
12 "And, behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according to what his work is.
  11 I indeed baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than me, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last."
  12 His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter in through the gates into the city.
  13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him.
15 For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and fornicators, and murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves and makes a lie.
  14 But John prevented Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?”
16 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David and the bright and morning star."
  15 But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, because it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let him who hears say, "Come." And let him who is thirsty come. And whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
  16 And when He was baptized, Jesus
18 For I testify to every man who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If any man adds to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book.

19 And if any man takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book.
