"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending," says the Lord, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."

I, John, who also am your brother and companion in tribulation and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
And he sent and beheaded John in the prison.
I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
And his head was brought on a platter and given to the young woman, and she brought it to her mother.
saying, "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last," and, "What you see, write in a book, and send it to the seven churches that are in Asia: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamum, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."
And his disciples came, and took up the body and buried it, and went and told Jesus.
And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks,
When Jesus heard of it, He departed from there by ship to a deserted place by Himself. And when the people had heard of it, they followed Him on foot out of the cities.
and in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet, and girded about the chest with a golden girdle.
And Jesus went forth and saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, and He healed their sick.
His head and His hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes were like a flame of fire.
And when it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, "This is a deserted place, and the time is now late. Send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food."
And His feet like fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace, and His voice like the sound of many waters.
But Jesus said to them, "They do not need to depart. You give them something to eat."
And He had in His right hand seven stars, and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His face was like the sun shining in its strength.
And they said to Him, "We have here but five loaves and two fish."
And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, "Do not fear; I am the first and the last.
He said, "Bring them here to Me."
I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of hell and of death."
And He commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to His disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
"Write the things that you have seen, and the things that are, and the things that shall be hereafter.
And they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained.
The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in My right hand and the seven golden candlesticks: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven candlesticks that you saw are the seven churches."
And those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
And immediately Jesus compelled His disciples to get into a ship and to go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away.
And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up by Himself on a mountain to pray. And when the evening came, He was there alone.
But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves, for the wind was contrary.
And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.
And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It is a spirit." And they cried out in fear.
But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Be of good cheer. It is I; do not be afraid."
And Peter answered Him and said, "Lord, if it is You, bid me to come to You on the water."
And He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of the ship, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.
But when he saw the wind was boisterous, he was afraid. And beginning to sink, he cried, saying, "Lord, save me!"
And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"
And when they came into the ship, the wind ceased.
Then those who were in the ship came and worshipped Him, saying, "Truly You are the Son of God."
And when they had gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.
And when the men of that place had knowledge of Him, they sent out into all that surrounding country and brought to Him all who were diseased,
and begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly whole.
