A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, nor can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of hell and of death."
Every tree that does not bring forth good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.

Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and have cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonderful works in Your name?'
And then I will profess to them, 'I never knew you. Depart from Me, you who work iniquity.'
"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine and does them, I will compare him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded on a rock.
"And everyone who hears these sayings of Mine and does not do them shall be compared to a foolish man who built his house on the sand.
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it fell. And great was its fall."
And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these sayings, the people were astonished at His doctrine,
for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
