6 and has made us kings and priests to God and His Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
7 But when you pray, do not use vain repetitions, as the heathen do. Because, they think that they will be heard because of their many words.
7 Behold, He comes with clouds, and every eye shall see Him, and also those who pierced Him. And all tribes of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.

9 I, John, who also am your brother and companion in tribulation and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven.
10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
11 saying, "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last," and, "What you see, write in a book, and send it to the seven churches that are in Asia: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamum, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
12 And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks,
13 And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Because, Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
13 and in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet, and girded about the chest with a golden girdle.
14 “Because, if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
14 His head and His hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes were like a flame of fire.
15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
15 And His feet like fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace, and His voice like the sound of many waters.
16 “Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. Because, they disfigure their faces, that they may appear to men to be fasting. Truly, I say to you, they have their reward.
16 And He had in His right hand seven stars, and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His face was like the sun shining in its strength.
17 But you, when you fast, anoint your head head, and wash your face,
17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, "Do not fear; I am the first and the last.
18 so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in that secret place; and your Father who sees in secret, will reward you openly.
18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of hell and of death."
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust corrupts, and where thieves break in and steal;
19 "Write the things that you have seen, and the things that are, and the things that shall be hereafter.
20 but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust corrupts, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
20 The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in My right hand and the seven golden candlesticks: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven candlesticks that you saw are the seven churches."
21 Because, where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
22 “The light of the body is the eye. Therefore if your eye is single, your entire body will be full of light.
23 But if your eye is corrupted, your entire body will be filled with darkness. Therefore if the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
24 “No one can serve two masters; because, either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
25 “Therefore I say to you, do not be anxious about your life, what shall eat or what you shall drink; nor about your body, what you shall put on. Is not this life more than food and the body more than clothing?
26 Look at the fowls of the air, because, they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of much more value than them?
27 Which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his stature?
28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;
29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these
30 Now if God clothes the grass of the field like that, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or, ‘What shall we drink?’ or, ‘What shall we wear?’
32 (Because, the Gentiles seek after all these things.) Because your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.
33 But you, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will be concerned for the issues of itself. Sufficient for the day is its own evil.
