	~~Part 2 of 4 – Recognize truth~~

	3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, even as you walk in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that b my children walk in truth. 5 Beloved, do faithfully whatsoever you do to the brethren, and to strangers;
	6 Which have borne witness of your love before the assembly: whom if you bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, you shall do well: 7 Because that for his name's sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles. 8 We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellow-helpers to the truth.

	4 私にとって、自分の子供たちが真理に従って歩んでいると聞くことほど大きな喜びはありません。 5 愛する者よ、あなたは兄弟たちに対しそれも見知らぬ人たちにまで、あらゆる事をみな誠実をもって尽くしています。6 それは教会であなたの愛の行為について証ししました。あなたは神の御心に叶うように彼らを送り出すことも、立派にやってくれるでしょう．7 兄弟たちは、異邦人からは何も受けずにイエスの御名のために旅立って行きました。8 ですから、私たちはそのような人たちを受け入れて援助すべきです．それは、私たちが真理のための同労者となるためです。

	9 I wrote to the assembly: but Diotrephes, who a loves to have the preeminence among them, receives us not. 10 Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he does, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither does he himself receive the brethren, and forbids them that would, and casts them out of the assembly. 11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that does good is of God: but he that does evil has not seen God. 12 Demetrius has good report of all, and of the truth itself: yes, and we bear record; and ye know that our record is true.
