  • Matthew 6:17 But <1161> thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;

  • Matthew 13:25 But <1161> while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
  • Matthew 13:26 But <1161> when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
  • Matthew 13:27 So <1161> the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
  • Matthew 13:28 <1161> He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. <1161> The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
  • Matthew 13:29 But <1161> he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
  • Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but <1161> gather the wheat into my barn.
  • Matthew 13:32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but <1161> when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

  • Matthew 14:30 But <1161> when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

  • Matthew 15:36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and <1161> the disciples to the multitude.

  • Matthew 17:20 And <1161> Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

  • Matthew 18:6 But <1161> whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
  • Matthew 18:8 Wherefore <1161> if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

  • Matthew 19:22 But <1161> when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
  • Matthew 19:23 Then <1161> said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
  • Matthew 19:24 And <1161> again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
  • Matthew 19:25 When <1161> his disciples heard [it], they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

  • Matthew 20:13 But <1161> he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
  • Matthew 20:14 Take [that] thine [is], and go thy way: <1161> I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
  • Matthew 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but <1161> few chosen.
  • Matthew 20:21 And <1161> he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
  • Matthew 20:22 But <1161> Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
  • Matthew 20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but <1161> to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but [it shall be given to them] for whom it is prepared of my Father.
  • Matthew 20:25 But <1161> Jesus called them [unto him], and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
  • Matthew 20:26 But <1161> it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
  • Matthew 20:31 And <1161> the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but <1161> they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, [thou] Son of David.
  • Matthew 20:34 So <1161> Jesus had compassion [on them], and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
  • Matthew 21:3 And if any [man] say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and <1161> straightway he will send them.

  • Matthew 21:11 And <1161> the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.
  • Matthew 21:13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but <1161> ye have made it a den of thieves.
  • Matthew 21:15 And <1161> when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased,
  • Matthew 21:16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And <1161> Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
  • Matthew 21:18 Now <1161> in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.
  • Matthew 21:21 Jesus answered and <1161> said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this [which is done] to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
  • Matthew 21:24 And <1161> Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
  • Matthew 21:25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And <1161> they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?
