== Description ==

The codex contains the text of the [[Gospel]]s on 268 parchment leaves (size {{×|32.8|23.1}}), with only one [[Lacuna (manuscripts)|lacunae]] (Hebrews 12:17-13:25). Written in one column per page, 23 lines per page.[3]
It contains tables of κεφαλαια, κεφαλαια, lectionary markings, αναγνωσεις, [[Synaxarion]] (ff. 213-217v), [[Menologion]] (ff. 218-222v), subscriptions, [[Stichometry|στιχοι]], and scholia. It does not contain τιτλοι, Ammonian Sections, [[Eusebian Canons]].[3][2]
Lacuna in Hebrews 12:17-13:25 was supplemented by a later hand.[3]

== Text ==

The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the [[Byzantine text-type]]. [[Kurt Aland|Aland]] placed it in [[Categories of New Testament manuscripts#Category V|Category V]].[4]
It belongs to the textual family [[Family Kr|Family Kr]].[5]
Textually it is close to the codex [[Minuscule 201|201]].

== History ==

The manuscript was written by one Joasaph in 1366 CE. It once belonged to [[Charles Burney]], as codices [[Minuscule 481|481]], [[Minuscule 482|482]], [[Minuscule 484|484]], [[Minuscule 485|485]], and [[Lectionary 184|'''ℓ''' ''184'']].[3] It was purchased to the [[British Museum]] in 1818.[2]

The manuscript was examined and collated by [[Frederick Henry Ambrose Scrivener|Scrivener]], who published its text in 1852.[3] The manuscript was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by Scrivener.

It is currently housed at the [[British Library]] (Burney 18, 222 fol.) in [[London]].[1]
