'''Minuscule 225''' (in the [[Biblical manuscript#Gregory-Aland|Gregory-Aland]] numbering), ε 1210 ([[Biblical manuscript#Von Soden|Soden]]), is a [[Greek language|Greek]] [[Lower case|minuscule]] [[manuscript]] of the [[New Testament]], on parchment. Dated by a [[Colophon (publishing)|colophon]] to the year 1192.[1]

== Description ==

The codex contains a complete text of the four [[Gospel]]s, on 171 parchment leaves (size 13.7 cm by 9.8 cm).[1] Written in one column per page, 29 lines per page.[2] It contains pictures, lectionary markings, [[Synaxarion|synaxaria]], and [[Menologion]].[2] [[Jesus and the woman taken in adultery|John 7:53-8:11]] placed after John 7:36.

In Matthew 6:13 it has unusual ending of the [[Lord's Prayer]]:

This ending have only two other manuscripts: [[Minuscule 157|157]] and [[Minuscule 418|418]].

The manuscript was examined by Treschow and [[Francis Karl Alter|Alter]].[]2 Alter used it in his edition of the Greek text of the New Testament.

Formerly it was held at Vienna at the Imperial Library (Suppl. Gr. 102).[2]

It is currently housed at the [[Biblioteca Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele III|Biblioteca Nazionale]] (Cod. Neapol. ex Vind. 9), at [[Naples]].[1]
