'''Minuscule 169''' (in the [[Biblical manuscript#Gregory-Aland|Gregory-Aland]] numbering), ε 305 ([[Biblical manuscript#Von Soden|Soden]]), is a [[Greek language|Greek]] [[Lower case|minuscule]] [[manuscript]] of the [[New Testament]], on parchment. [[Paleography|Paleographically]] it had been assigned to the 11th century.[1]

== Description ==

The codex contains a complete text of the four [[Gospel]]s on 252 parchment leaves (size 12 cm by 10 cm).[1] Written in one column per page, in 19 lines per page,[1] in light-brown ink.

It contains Prolegomena, tables of κεφαλαια, κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, Ammonian Sections (Mark 233), [[Eusebian Canons]], subscriptions, [[Synaxarion|synaxaria]], [[Menologion]], and pictures.[2][3]

== History ==

The manuscript was once in the property of Achilles Statius, as also was [[minuscule 171]].[2]

It was examined by [[Giuseppe Bianchini|Bianchini]], [[Andrew Birch|Birch]], [[Johann Martin Augustin Scholz|Scholz]] (1794-1852), and Gregory.[3]

It is currently housed at the [[Biblioteca Vallicelliana]] (B. 133), at [[Rome]].[1]
