Dated by its [[Colophon (publishing)|colophon]] to the year 1292.[1]

== Description ==

The codex contains a complete text of the four [[Gospel]]s on 214 thick parchment leaves (size 30.4 cm by 20.4 cm).[1] Written in two columns per page, in 33 lines per page.[1]

It contains [[Epistula ad Carpianum]], Eusebian tables, tables of κεφαλαια, κεφαλαια, τιτλοι (partly from later hand), Ammonian Sections (Mark 236 - 16:12), [[Eusebian Canons]], and [[Synaxarion|synaxaria]].[2]

== Text ==

The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the [[Byzantine text-type]]. [[Kurt Aland|Aland]] did not place it in any [[Categories of New Testament manuscripts|Category]].[3]

The [[Jesus and the woman taken in adultery|Pericope Adulterae]] (John 7:53-8:11) is marked by [[obelus]].[4]

== History ==

The manuscript was probably written in [[Calabria]]. The subscription states that it was written for one Archbishop Paul, and given to the Library by Eugenia, daughter of John Pontanus († 1503).[2]

It was examined by [[Andrew Birch|Birch]] and [[Johann Martin Augustin Scholz|Scholz]] (1794-1852).[4]

It is currently housed at the [[Vatican Library]] (Barb. gr. 541), at [[Rome]].[1]
