'''Minuscule 453''' (in the [[Biblical manuscript#Gregory-Aland|Gregory-Aland]] numbering), A<sup> πρ40</sup> (in the [[Biblical manuscript#Von Soded|Soden]] numbering), is a [[Greek language|Greek]] [[Lower case|minuscule]] [[manuscript]] of the [[New Testament]], on parchment. [[Paleography|Paleographically]] it had been assigned to the 14th century.<sup>[1]</sup> Formerly it was labelled by 81<sup>a</sup>.<sup>[2]</sup> == Description == The codex contains the text of the [[Acts of the Apostles]], [[Catholic epistles]] on 295 parchment leaves (35 cm by 27.3 cm). Written in two columns per page, in 32 lines per page.<sup>[1]</sup> Letters written above lines. It contains Prolegomena to the Acts, tables of κεφαλαια to the Acts, κεφαλαια to the Acts, τιτλοι in Acts and epistles, a commnentary.<sup>[3]</sup> == Text == The Greek text of the codex is a mixture of text-types.
