[[Paleography|Paleographically]] it had been assigned to the 14th century.<sup>[1]</sup> 

== Description ==

The codex contains the text of the [[New Testament]] on 393 parchment leaves (29&nbsp;cm by 21&nbsp;cm). Written in one column per page, in 24 lines per page.<sup>[1]</sup> It contains the Eusebian tables, lists of κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, lectionary markings, αναγνωσεις, subscriptions, [[Stichometry|στιχοι]], [[Synaxarion]], [[Menologion]], and [[Euthalius|Euthalian]] apparatus to Catholic and Pauline epistles.<sup>[2]</sup> 

The order of books: Gospels, Acts, Catholic epistles, Pauline epistles, and Book of Revelation. The text of the pericope [[Jesus and the woman taken in adultery|John 7:53-8:11]] marked by an [[obelus]].<sup>[2]</sup>

== Text ==

The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the [[Byzantine text-type]]. [[Kurt Aland|Aland]] placed it in [[Categories of New Testament manuscripts#Category V|Category V]].<sup>[3]</sup>
It belongs to the textual family [[Family Kr|K<sup>r</sup>]].<sup>[4]</sup>

== History == 

Formerly the manuscript, together with [[Minuscule 388|388]], [[Minuscule 389|389]], and [[Minuscule 390|390]] belonged to Giovanni Angelo Herzog von Altaemps († 1627).<sup>[2]</sup> 

The manuscript was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by [[Johann Martin Augustin Scholz|Scholz]] (1794-1852).<sup>[5]</sup> 

The manuscript is currently housed at the [[Vatican Library]] (Ottob. gr. 66) in [[Rome]].<sup>[1]</sup>
