Dated by a [[Colophon (publishing)|colophon]] to the year 1391 (or 1291 - Scrivener, Gregory).<sup>[1]</sup> 

== Description ==
The codex contains the text of the four [[Gospel]]s on 238 parchment leaves (11.5 cm by 8.8 cm), with [[Lacuna (manuscript)|lacunae]] (Matt. 1:18-11:14). Written in one column per page, in 19-24 lines per page.<sup>[1]</sup> It contains Prolegomena, κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, Ammonian Sections, [[Eusebian Canons]], lectionary markings, and pictures.<sup>[2]</sup>

== History ==

The manuscript was written by Peter, a monk, in Jerusalem. Georgirene brought it in 1676 from [[Patmos]] to Paris and gave it to [[Louis XIV of France|Louis XIV]].<sup>[2]</sup> 
It was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by [[Johann Martin Augustin Scholz|Scholz]] (1794-1852).<sup>[4]</sup> 

The manuscript is currently housed at the [[Bibliothèque nationale de France]] (Gr. 118) at [[Paris]].<sup>[1]</sup>
