[[Paleography|Paleographically]] it had been assigned to the 13th century.<sup>[1]</sup> 

== Description ==

The codex contains the text of the [[Gospel of John]] on 10 parchment leaves,<sup>[1]</sup> with a [[Lacuna (manuscript)|lacunae]] (John 1:1-7:38).<sup>[2]</sup> It contains [[Epistula ad Carpianum]], Eusebian tables, tables of κεφαλαια, Ammonian Sections, [[Eusebian Canons]], and [[Synaxarion]].<sup>[3]</sup>

== Text ==

The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the [[Byzantine text-type]]. [[Kurt Aland|Aland]] placed it in [[Categories of New Testament manuscripts#Category V|Category V]].<sup>[4]</sup> 

== History ==

Formerly the manuscript was held at the monastery at [[Mount Athos|Athos]] peninsula. It was brought to Moscow, by the monk Arsenius, on the suggestion of the [[Patriarch Nikon]], in the reign of [[Alexis of Russia|Alexei Mikhailovich Romanov]] (1645-1676). The manuscript was collated by C. F. Matthaei.<sup>[3]</sup> 

It was examined by [[Johann Jakob Wettstein|Wettstein]], [[Johann Jakob Griesbach|Griesbach]] and [[Christian Frederick Matthaei|Matthei]].<sup>[2]</sup> 

The manuscript is currently housed at the [[State Historical Museum]] at [[Moscow]].<sup>[1]</sup>
