Written in two columns per page, in 30-31 lines per page.<sup>[1]</sup> It contains [[Epistula ad Carpianum]], the Eusebian tables, Prolegomena, κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, Ammonian Sections, [[Eusebian Canons]], lectionary markings, [[Synaxarion]], and [[Menologion]].<sup>[2]</sup> <br />

Texts of [[Matthew 16:2b-3]] and [[Jesus and the woman taken in adultery|John 7:53-8:11]] marked by an [[obelus]].<sup>[2]</sup> Citations from the Old Testament are marked by [[asterisk]].<sup>[3]</sup> <br />

Textually it is close to the manuscripts [[Minuscule 477|477]] and [[Minuscule 1279|1279]].<br />

The manuscript was written in [[Calabria]].<sup>[2]</sup> It once belonged to "J. V. Pinelli".<sup>[3]</sup> It was examined by [[Johann Martin Augustin Scholz|Scholz]] and [[Dean Burgon|Burgon]]. It was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by [[Johann Martin Augustin Scholz|Scholz]] (1794-1852).<sup>[4]</sup> <br />

The manuscript is currently housed at the [[Biblioteca Ambrosiana]] (B. 56 sup.) in [[Milan]].<sup>[1]</sup> <br />
